Professors

 

 

Renato Baldini Filho received the Electrical Engineering and M.Sc. degrees from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Campinas, Brazil, in 1980 and 1983, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Manchester, Manchester, U.K., in 1992. In 1984, he was with the Faculty of Electrical and Computing Engineering (FEEC), State University of Campinas, where he is currently Associate Professor. He was a founding member of the Sociedade Brasileira de Telecomunicações (Brazilian Telecommunications Society), Head of the Department of Communications from 1998 to 1999, and he is currently Coordinator of Extension of the FEEC. His research interests are mainly in the field of digital communications with specific emphasis on error correction codes, multiple access techniques, satellite communications, synchronization, wireless communications, and data transmission. Celso de Almeida received the Electrical Engineering, M.Sc., and Dr.Sc. degrees from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Campinas, Brazil, in 1980, 1983, and 1990, respectively. In 1990, he was with the Faculty of Electrical and Computing Engineering, State University of Campinas, where he is currently Associate Professor. He worked as an Electrical Engineer/Researcher in optical communications industry from 1982 to 1990. His research interests lie in the fields of code division multiple access, multiuser detection, antenna arrays, multiple-input multiple-output systems, wireless communications, digital transmission, error correction codes, and criptography. Tarciana Araújo Lopes is graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia, UFBA, Brazil, in 2001. She received his M.Sc. degree from the State University of Campinas, UNICAMP, Brazil, in 2003. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree and his research interests include zero-correlationzone codes, multicarrier systems and wireless communications in general. Gonzalo Fernando Olmedo Cifuentes

 

 

Márzio Geandre Rêgo received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Para-UFPA, Brazil, and M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP, Brazil, in 2001 and 2004, respectively. He has performed research in the areas of wireless networks, CDMA systems and performance of ad hoc networks. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree. At this moment, she is a Master Electrical Engineering Student of the Mobile Communications Department, at State University of Campinas, UNICAMP, Brazil. Renata Mataveli Viti received the Electrical Engineering Degree by the Pontificia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC-MG) in 2006, with emphasis on telecommunications. Currently, she is a Master's Degree Student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC), Communications Department (DECOM), UNICAMP. Celso Iwata Frison was born in Poços de Caldas, Brazil, where he graduated in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Telecommunications from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais – PUC Minas, in 2006. Danny Rodrigo De la Cruz Guevara was born in the city of Quito - Equator, made the superior studies in the Polytechnic School of the Army (ESPE) obtaining the title of electronics engineer in telecommunications (2007). He is currently a Master Degree student in the State University of Campinas, UNICAMP, and his research interests are Power Line Telecommunications (PLT), Ad Hoc networks (MANETs) and performance in wireless communications.
